At the last match of the masters track and field series, this time in Harrow, St Albans women came 1st to finish the league 2nd overall this season. The men’s team came 3rd on the night to finish 4th overall. The St Albans team combining St Albans Striders and Athletics Club has grown this year in size and strength and we all had a LOT of fun under team captain Andrew Maher.

Meanwhile Andrew Maher himself took part on Saturday in the SVN 6 hour Running challenge at Gravesend, completing 50Km in 5 Hiours 50 minutes.
