Despite the ongoing pandemic, a number of events are going ahead in covid-secure conditions.

Ian Hirth had a busy week finishing second V40 in the Chase the Moon 10k at the Olympic Park on Wednesday and 28th overall (and sixth V40) in the Newbury Racecourse Half Marathon on Saturday. Hirth finished a great week in third place overall at the “Strive for 12” event near Hitchin in which competitors must run a 5k loop every hour for 12 hours. Meanwhile recently married Ben & Jenna Scott took part in the postponed ‘spring’ marathon at Queen Elizabeth country park in Hampshire, finishing the extremely hilly course in just over 5½ hours.
