Striders were among the 20,000 competitors at the London Landmarks half marathon at the weekend, an event that has been designed to pass as many cultural landmarks and quirky hidden secrets as possible in the City of London and Westminster. Ivan Ghouse completed the route in blustery conditions in 1:33:31 and was 20th (top 3%) in his gender age category. He was followed by Nicky Laitner in 1.38.10 who finished in a fantastic 4th place in her age category (top 1%), Peter Blackaller in 1:46:49 which was good enough to secure an impressive 3rd place in his age category and John Selby in 2:00:54 and Milley Cherry in 2:11:21.

A number of Striders travelled to Europe for major events. Alexandra Kett earned herself a personal best with an impressive time of 3:14:23 at the Paris marathon.
