Fred Hughes 10
The Fred Hughes 10 is a beautiful 10 mile road race run round St Albans in Hertfordshire.
This years race took place on Sunday 19th January 2020
We are really sad to announce that due to the current restrictions around COVID 19, the Fred Hughes 10 mile race scheduled for January 2021 has been postponed.
We are hoping to be able to hold the race in the summer of 2021- more details to follow early next year.

- HQ based at St. Columbas School with the start and finish line a short walk away
- Full chip timing
- Entries are limited to 1000
- Kit can be left in the changing rooms or in the main gym but this is at your own risk.
- Drinks stations will be available along the route. Refreshments will be available after the race at race HQ.
Prizes
Cash prizes based on gun to finish time chip -
1st: £200 2nd: £100 3rd: £50 4th: £30 5th: £20 MEN & WOMEN
Prizes to the following category winners will be presented in the sports hall after the race -
- Male veteran over 40
- Male veteran over 50
- Male veteran over 60
- Male veteran over 70
- Female veteran over 35
- Female veteran over 45
- Female veteran over 55
- Female veteran over 65
In addition, there will be team prizes for:
- Men: 1st team (4 per team)
- Women: 1st team (4 per team)
