Striders took podium places at the Watford Autumn 10k over a challenging course. Stefano Federici took 3rd place in an impressive time of 38:20 and Wendy Walsh finished 3rd female in 44:28.

Almost 40 Striders were out in force in the popular St Neots Half Marathon achieving PBs aplenty. Striders were led home by Ian Hirth (1:27:04) and Lucy Jones (1:32:17). Other finishers included Clare Watkins (1:35:16 PB), Nicky Laitner (1:38:04), Spencer Grant (1:40:02 PB), Richard Vaughan (1:40:03 PB), Stephen Elkan (1:41:15), Anna Jones (1:41:16 PB), Alli Park Crowne (1:42:21), Kate Burn (1:42:47 PB), Leanne Sheldon (1:48:28 PB), Abi Lewis (1:49:08 PB), Laura Astley (1:51:34), Gemma Carruthers (1:52:04), Linda Green (1:52:39 PB), Rose McGinness (1:53:43), Shanti Johnson (1:55:07), Sarah Loughrey (1:56:37 PB), Diane Hunt (1:59:17 PB), Helen Palmer (2:07:23 PB), Jo Farmer (2:12:00 PB) and Sue Edwards (2:16:23 PB).

Jim King finished 11th overall and 3rd V40 at the Stevenage Half Marathon in an excellent new PB of 1:20:53. Stacey Harris was 1st V40 in 1:36:11 and Judy Willits was 4th V50 in 1:49:11

Elsewhere, Anna Silkstone finished 17th female and 4th V40 at the hilly Wendover Woods Half Marathon in an excellent time of 1:58.

Superhero themed celebrations took place at Jersey Farm as parkrun legend Mark Travers completed his 500th event dressed as Deadpool.
