Six brave Striders crossed the Atlantic to run what I have been reliably informed was the hottest ever New York marathon. The Striders were Bex Clare whose time was 4:33:18, Ruth Kent 4:39:08, Jim King 2:57:02, Andrew McKillop 3:14:44, Seb Rowe 3:23:32 and Nigel Aston 3:32:40. All amazing achievements.

John Cooper came 1^st in his age category at the County Vets half marathon in a time of 1:30:52.

Clair Drage ran her 54^th marathon in the Book Bound Challenge.
