Freya Weddell won the Women's race at the final Sunday League Cross Country race of the season at Royston on Sunday. She came home in an impressive time of 40:52 for the 9k hilly course, over a minute ahead of her closest rival.

Alexandra Kett (44:59), Wendy Walsh (46:02) and Kate Dixon (47:50) came in 5th, 6th & 8th in a very impressive performance for the team.

First man home was Jonathan Scott (37:42) in eighth place, while team captain Nigel Aston was second V55 in 42.49.
