The last week has seen some amazing achievements from many Striders.

In amongst the highlights I found were Carrie Frazer and Thomas Toyer who competed in the appropriately named God Save the Queen Platinum Jubilee Run. This event covered 50 miles with Carrie completing the distance in 8.54:04 and finishing 3rd in her category and Thomas achieved the amazing time of 7.03:32.

There were 3 Striders at Graffam Water events with Mike Martin competing in the triathlon and finishing in a time of 4.07:08 in 66th position. Deborah Noel competed in the AquaRun finishing 1st in her category a time of 2.49:49 whilst Julianne Nightingale competed in the Standard AquaRun also finishing 1st in her category in 2.43:30.

Ellie Morris competed in West Highland Way race which was spread over 5 events on consecutive days. The distance was a staggering 140k.

Closer to home Martin Halling (5th in category) and Donna Irwin (14th in category) competed in the Hatfield Broad Oak 10k finishing in times of 44.52 and 49.16 respectively.
