A fantastic turnout at the 2nd Sunday League XC race in some typical cross country weather! With over 350 runners in attendance, the striders fielded a team of over 35 runners at Cassiobury Park and Whippendell Woods, Watford. Under team captain Nigel Aston, the mens team were led home by Adam Yorwerth finishing in 9th place overall, followed by Jonathon Scott, Chris Dennell, Rory Marsh and Jonathon Bird. The womens team were not to be outdone and were led home by Freya Weddell and Hannah Burkhardt finishing 1st and 2nd Overall, followed by Penny Habbick, Kate Dixon and Louise Bentham.
