It was another quiet week for competitive racing.  Jack Brooks completed the Leila's Run Trail Marathon in 5.22. A number of Striders competed in the Southern Athletic League event held at Westminster Lodge, the final event to be held there before the existing track is replaced. 

In Copenhagen, Max Campbell completed his 3rd Ironman in a time of 12 hours 50 minutes, finishing 65th in his age category.  Cherry Campbell, who only joined Striders this year, completed her first Ironman in an impressive 14 hours 42 minutes.  

At St Albans parkrun it was a husband and wife team effort with Matt and Heather Hann finishing first male and female respectively, followed by Jonathan Scott in 3rd and Blake Vivian 4th.  Further afield, Cathal Gallagher was first at Letterkenny pakrun in Ireland, while Steve Buckle was the 2nd finisher at Winchester parkrun.
