Striders’ final strides to Chiltern League finale

On Saturday 13^th January, St Albans Striders took to the muddy terrain of Watford’s Cassiobury Park in a penultimate bid for success in the cross-country Chiltern League.

A fantastic effort was shown by the women’s team with the Veteran’s Women flying in in second place with Lucy Waterlow being the first Strider over the finish line in 14^th position. The Senior Women’s team retained their third position overall in the league, driven by Lily Seach as the second Strider home, closely followed by Lucy Jones.

The men’s race saw Telfer Gray take the first Strider spot in 13^th position overall. The Senior Men are now in eighth place across the Chiltern League cross-country with fierce competition coming into the final event in February.
