Steve Buckle finished first in the Bearbrook 10k race on a fairly flat course near Aylesbury on Sunday – Buckle coped well with the hot weather and won the race in just under 34 minutes. [pic Gavin Murrison].

Elsewhere Doug Hobson finished in third place in the Stopsley 10-mile trail race in Bedfordshire.
