Record Breaking Week For Andy Jordan

As many Striders set off on their summer holidays there was no time to rest for Andy Jordan with a busy week of racing on track and road.

Andy started off with the Gren Space 10k in Battersea Park. Finishing in a sumptuous time of 37:30 he was first V60 and set a new Striders club record in the process.

If this wasn’t enough Andy took on the 800m at the Watford Open on Wednesday evening and notched another V60 club record with a time of 2:28:79.

The Strider made it three in a row on Sunday under very hot conditions at the Dorney Lake Half Marathon. Andy finished 12th in a superb 1:24:01 and his time ensured first place in the V60 category and another record to his name.
