We'll meet as usual at the Elephant and Castle at 10.30. There'll be the customary run/s of 5/7 miles at a 'conversational' pace (faster, longer runs can be accommodated subject to demand) over country routes and return to the pub around 12.00 for lunch or just a drink if that suits you.

It is important to remember that the pub runs are primarily social events - open to all so just turn up and you'll be made very welcome and well looked after on the runs whatever your pace (nothing too fast, mind!).

The Elephant and Castle is in Amwell, a small hamlet close to Sandridge and Wheathampsted (postcode AL4 8EA). Coming from St.Albans, take the Sandridge road, pass through Sandridge itself and continue towards Wheathampstead. At the first crossroads, go left into Ferrers Lane and then right after 100 metres into Down Green Lane and the pub is half a mile along on your right.
