The St Albans Striders Distance Training Runs are back!

Are you an experienced marathon runner? Are you new to running or would just like to try a longer, non-competitive run with friends and support? Do you just fancy a nice run on a Sunday morning?

With a planned route of 15 miles on Sunday 8th February and 20 miles on the 15th March, these distance training runs have been created to ensure runners of all abilities can join.

Whether you are preparing for a Spring marathon, trying a new distance run or just trying to get your miles in, these runs provide an opportunity to explore an exciting route that showcases the beauty of the Alban Way and Mill Green.

What to Bring:

Comfortable running gear
Hydration (if required)
Any energy gels / snacks you will need

We're also really keen to hear from anyone who is willing to help out either run leading or manning a water stop
