Chiltern League XC - Fixture #1 - Horspath, Oxford

Please join us for the very first race of the cross country season at the first Chiltern League Fixture, in the countryside of Oxfordshire. It's a beautiful course and promises to be a fun day out with lots of cheering opportunities for your fellow striders!

Event Timings and Distance:

- Senior Women - 13:15 - 5600m

- Senior Men - 14:00 - 8900m

Transport and Parking:

Due to the distance of this fixture, we encourage people to plan in advance and car/lift share or use public transport where possible.

All athletes and coaches must park in the Mini Factory Car park (postcode OX4 2RD)

You can take bus no 10 from Oxford City Centre, Queen Street (buses run every 15 mins and journey time is approximately 30 mins). Get off the bus at horspath road, cross at the pedestrian crossing and head towards Horspath Sports Ground.

Changing:

In addition to the Striders gazebo there will be a marquee available for changing in case of bad weather, along with portable toilets adjacent to the start/finish area.


Chiltern League Registration:

To run in the Chiltern League you need to register in advance and be issued with a number. You only need to register once, then you keep your number for the duration of the season. Sign up is now open using the below form. Sign up will close on Wednesday 12th October.
