Summer Trail Series - Event 4 - Jersey Farm/Sandridge

Join us for the second event of the Summer Trail Series, which will take us from the start of JF parkrun out to Sandridge and on to some familiar trails at Heartwood Forest. We will run as a social group with a front leader and a back marker, all paces are welcome/encouraged. The ground is dry and the majority of the route is on footpaths so road shoes will be fine but trail shoes are recommended if you have them!

Important: This route has two distance options, which have different start points. The longer route will pick up people en route. Details for both options are below.

Option 1 - 20.5 km

Start Point: The Crown Pub, St Albans (no parking available at the site but there are limited spaces available at clarence park nearby)

Start Time: 10:00 hrs

Option 2 - 11.5 km

Start Point: Jersey Farm Woodland Park (where JF Park Run Starts). Car parking around the area is available but spaces are limited, cycling or walking/running is preferred. If cars are used, car sharing is encouraged, please utilise the Striders facebook page and whatsapp groups for this!

Start Time: 10:30 hrs

Sign Up: Prior sign up is not mandatory but to give an idea of numbers, please vote on the facebook poll that will be posted in the week before the event.
