Mid Week Road Race League

The Mid Week Road Race League (MWRRL) is 5 mid-week races of about 5 -6 miles, run throughout the Summer each year against local running clubs. The main points are,

• Each of the 5 Hertfordshire clubs hosts a race
• It's FREE to run
• You have to be a paid member of the club
• You will need to run in club vest

Each of the 5 clubs involved hosts one of the races, giving you the chance to travel around the county and meet / race other local clubs. It's great fun (and gets quite serious too!), really the key is in getting good numbers from your club to all the races and eating lots of food afterwards.

Races are usually on a Tue, Wed or Thurs at 19:45

All races are free to enter, just turn up in your Striders kit and you'll be given a number

The top 12 men and top 6 women score but all runners help keep other clubs points down, so lost of runner always encouraged!

Details are posted on the forums abtou races / car sharing etc.

The host club provides refreshments for the participants, after the race.

The last race is a (friendly) mob match at Trent Park, when the trophies are presented
