Club Champs 2013

Club Champs 2012/2013 Format

The Club Champs for the coming year will begin at the 10 November 2012 Chiltern League XC fixture at Shuttleworth and will finish at the end of October 2013.

As with previous years, Chiltern League, Sunday League, MWRRL will all be eligible for 20 points for EVERY time you compete in the club vest as will National XC, Fairlands Valley Relays and the Stevenage 3k relays. However, Met League will no longer be eligible.

In addition we will award 20 points, as usual, for EVERY time you marshal for the Striders (including helping in the kitchen, course set-up etc) - this includes the Fred Hughes 10, St Albans 10k, Sunday League and MWRRL fixtures.
 

Also maintained is:

· 10 points for EVERY County medal you win, whichever colour, whether team or individual
· 10 points for EVERY time helping out at tea night (please arrange with Tina in advance)
· 30 points for completing a marathon (available once only).

Lastly, we have the scoring races (50 points for first male or female Strider, 49 for second, etc - like last year):

· Chiltern League XC, Slough Upton Court Park (1 December 2012)
· Southern XC Championships, Parliament Hill (26 January 2013)
· Watford Half Marathon (3 February 2013)
· MWRRL, Royston (likely June/July)
· Bearbrook 10k (August 2013)
· Relay event - TBA

Finally, some of the events are popular (e.g. Watford Half) and should be entered in sooner rather than later to avoid disappointment or need to be entered in advance via the captains (e.g. Herts/Southern/National XC) so please bear this in mind.
